The UW-Madison uses two vendors for online training and education: Skillsoft and MindLeaders. It has had a contract with SkillSoft since 2004. SkillSoft has two principle libraries: Business Skills (about 530 courses) and Information Technology Skills (about 1,400 courses). A license for either library costs $48.00 for one year. SkillSoft also has two less used libraries: Health & Safety (including some courses in Spanish), and a comprehensive license for all courses and Books 24x7 and other reference materials.
UW-Madison recently also signed a contract with MindLeaders for their courseware. It also has Business Skills and Information Technology libraries, each for $53.00 for a year's license. MindLeaders too has a Health & Safety library, (with some courses in Spanish). Finally, there also are Expanded Online Packages of all courses and reference libraries.
